About Zirgan
Overview
Zirgan is an eye gel containing ganciclovir, an antiviral medicine. It treats acute herpetic keratitis (dendritic ulcers) in adults and children aged 2 years and older. It works by acting against the virus responsible for this eye infection.

Side effects
The most commonly reported side effects are blurred vision (60%), eye irritation (20%), punctate keratitis (small spots of inflammation on the cornea, the clear front surface of the eye; 5%), and conjunctival hyperemia (eye redness; 5%).
