About Vyzulta
Overview
Vyzulta is an eye drop medicine containing latanoprostene bunod, a prostaglandin analog. It is used to lower pressure inside the eye in people with open-angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension. It is thought to work by helping fluid drain out of the eye through two drainage pathways.
What it treats

Safety information
Side effects
The most common side effects are eye redness (6%), eye irritation (4%), eye pain (3%) and pain when applying the drops (2%). Serious eye problems listed in the label include inflammation inside the eye, macular edema (swelling in the central part of the retina) and bacterial keratitis (a bacterial infection of the cornea). Contact your doctor if you develop any of these problems. Vyzulta may also darken the iris and eyelid skin. Changes to iris colour are likely to be permanent. Eyelashes may gradually become longer, thicker or more numerous; these changes usually reverse after treatment is stopped.

Storage
Store below 25°C away from direct light. Once opened, follow the in-use period printed on the pack and do not let the dropper touch the eye or any surface. Keep all medicines out of the sight and reach of children.
