About Leukeran
Overview
Leukeran is a prescription cancer medicine containing chlorambucil, available as tablets. It is used to treat chronic lymphocytic leukemia and certain malignant lymphomas, including lymphosarcoma, giant follicular lymphoma and Hodgkin’s disease. It is not a cure for these conditions, but may help relieve their effects. It works by interfering with DNA copying and triggering cell death.

Before taking this medicine
Do not take Leukeran (chlorambucil) if your disease has previously been resistant to chlorambucil or if you have had an allergic reaction to it. Tell your prescriber if you have had an allergic reaction to another alkylating medicine, as cross-allergic reactions, including skin rash, may occur.
Interactions
The label states that there are no known drug–drug interactions with chlorambucil. It does not provide information about supplement or food interactions.

Dosing
