About ENJAYMO
Overview
ENJAYMO contains sutimlimab-jome, a monoclonal antibody supplied in a vial for intravenous use. It is used to treat hemolysis, the breakdown of red blood cells, in adults with cold agglutinin disease (CAD). It works by blocking a protein called C1s in part of the immune system known as the classical complement pathway, helping to prevent red blood cell breakdown.

Safety information
Side effects
Common side effects reported in studies include a runny or blocked nose, headache, high blood pressure, bluish discoloration of the hands or feet, and Raynaud’s phenomenon (changes in finger or toe color). Other commonly reported effects include urinary tract infections, respiratory tract infections, bacterial infections, dizziness, tiredness, swelling of the arms or legs, joint pain, cough and nausea. Contact your doctor if you develop signs or symptoms of an infection or autoimmune disease. Serious infections can occur. Tell your healthcare team immediately if you experience a reaction during an infusion; the infusion may need to be interrupted and medical treatment given. If ENJAYMO treatment is interrupted or stopped, hemolysis (the breakdown of red blood cells) can return and requires monitoring. Contact your doctor if signs or symptoms return.
Before taking this medicine
Do not use ENJAYMO if you have a known allergy to sutimlimab-jome or any of its inactive ingredients. ENJAYMO carries a risk of serious infections. Ensure vaccination against encapsulated bacteria, and monitor for early signs and symptoms of infection. Monitoring is also needed for infusion-related reactions and signs or symptoms of autoimmune disease. If an infusion reaction occurs, the infusion should be interrupted and appropriate medical care provided. If treatment is interrupted or stopped, monitor for recurrent hemolysis (the breakdown of red blood cells).

Dosing

Storage
Store in the original carton below 25°C, protected from light, unless the pack states refrigeration. Do not freeze. Keep all medicines out of the sight and reach of children.
