About Cystadrops
Overview
Cystadrops is an eye solution containing cysteamine. It treats cystine crystal deposits in the cornea, the clear front surface of the eye, in adults and children with cystinosis. It works by converting cystine into other compounds, reducing the buildup of cystine crystals in the cornea.

Corneal cystine crystal deposits in adults and children with cystinosis.

Side effects
Common side effects include eye pain, blurred vision, eye irritation, redness, discomfort when applying the drops, itchy eyes, increased tearing and deposits in the eye.
Before taking this medicine
