Interactions
Diclofenac can interact with the following medicines. Tell your doctor if you take any of them: Blood thinners such as warfarin, antiplatelet medicines such as aspirin, and antidepressants called SSRIs or SNRIs can increase bleeding risk when used with diclofenac. Your doctor may need to monitor for bleeding. Other nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) and salicylates, such as diflunisal or salsalate, increase the risk of stomach and intestinal side effects with little or no added benefit. These combinations are not recommended. Aspirin used for pain relief is also generally not recommended alongside diclofenac because of increased bleeding risk. Blood pressure medicines, including ACE inhibitors, angiotensin receptor blockers (ARBs) and beta-blockers, may become less effective. ACE inhibitors and ARBs can also increase the risk of worsening kidney function when combined with an NSAID, particularly in older people, people who are dehydrated or those with kidney problems. Blood pressure and kidney monitoring may be needed. Diuretics, including furosemide and thiazides, may become less effective. Your doctor may check kidney function and how well these medicines are working. Digoxin and lithium levels can rise. Your doctor may check digoxin levels and monitor for lithium toxicity. Methotrexate may cause more serious side effects, including low blood cell counts and kidney problems. Cyclosporine may increase the risk of kidney damage. Pemetrexed may increase the risk of reduced blood cell production, kidney problems, and stomach or intestinal side effects. Your doctor may need to interrupt diclofenac treatment around pemetrexed treatment and arrange monitoring.

Storage
Store below 25°C in a dry place, in the original pack, away from direct light and moisture. Do not keep it in a bathroom. Keep all medicines out of the sight and reach of children.
