About Temovate , Olux
Overview
Clobetasol propionate cream is a very strong corticosteroid medicine applied to the skin. It is used to relieve inflammation and itching caused by skin conditions that respond to corticosteroid treatment. It works through its corticosteroid activity to reduce inflammation in the skin.

Side effects
Burning and stinging were the most frequent side effects reported with clobetasol propionate cream, affecting 1% of patients in controlled trials. Less frequent effects included itching, skin thinning and cracked or split skin. Other reported effects with topical corticosteroids include dryness, acne-like spots, lighter skin patches, a rash around the mouth, allergic contact dermatitis, skin infection, irritation, stretch marks and heat rash. These may occur more often when treated skin is covered with an airtight dressing or when higher-potency corticosteroids are used. Contact a doctor if you develop skin thinning, cracked skin, an allergic skin reaction or signs of a skin infection. Cushing’s syndrome, a serious condition involving excess corticosteroid effects in the body, has been reported in infants and adults after prolonged use of topical clobetasol propionate. If this is suspected, contact a doctor.

Before taking this medicine
Do not use clobetasol propionate cream if you have a history of an allergic reaction to clobetasol propionate or any of the cream’s other ingredients.
