About Naftin
Overview
Naftin is an antifungal gel containing naftifine hydrochloride, for use on the skin only. It treats athlete’s foot between the toes caused by certain fungi. It works by acting against the fungi responsible for this infection.
What it treats
Athlete’s foot between the toes (interdigital tinea pedis) caused by Trichophyton rubrum, Trichophyton mentagrophytes or Epidermophyton floccosum.
Safety information
Side effects
The most common side effects are reactions where the gel is applied, reported in 2% of patients. If redness or irritation develops, stop using Naftin.

If symptoms are severe or getting worse quickly, seek emergency care rather than waiting.
