About Klisyri
Overview
Klisyri is a topical ointment containing tirbanibulin. It is used to treat actinic keratosis on the face or scalp. Tirbanibulin blocks microtubules, but exactly how Klisyri works to treat actinic keratosis is unknown.

Side effects
Common side effects of Klisyri include skin reactions, itching and pain where it is applied. Severe skin reactions can occur in the treated area, including blisters, pus-filled bumps, open sores or ulcers. Contact a doctor if these occur. Do not use Klisyri until the skin has healed from any previous medicine or surgical treatment. Klisyri may irritate the eyes if it gets into them. Avoid getting it in or around the eyes. If accidental eye exposure occurs, rinse the eyes with water and seek medical care.

If symptoms are severe or getting worse quickly, seek emergency care rather than waiting.
Before taking this medicine
The label lists no contraindications for Klisyri. Avoid use until the skin has healed from any previous drug or surgical treatment. Local skin reactions can occur in the treated area and may be severe, including blisters, pus-filled bumps, open sores or ulcers. Avoid getting Klisyri in the eyes or on the skin around them, as eye exposure may cause irritation. If accidental eye exposure occurs, flush the eyes with water and seek medical care.
